Tragic Love Story: Man Hangs Himself in Front of Lover’s House

Tumakuru witnessed a heartbreaking incident where a young man ended his life in front of his lover’s house. The tragic story unfolded in Channappanapalya near Jayanagar, where Manjunath (32) took this extreme step after being unable to marry the woman he loved.

Manjunath, a vehicle driver, had been in love with a girl from the neighboring house for the past few months. Both were ready to marry, but her family reportedly refused the proposal. Distraught by this rejection, Manjunath hanged himself in front of her house late at night.

Reports suggest that the girl was a minor, leading her family to oppose the marriage. Despite this, Manjunath deeply loved her and couldn’t bear the thought of losing her. This despair drove him to take the drastic step.

Jayanagar police arrived at the scene, conducted an investigation, and registered a case. The body has been sent to Tumakuru District Hospital for a post-mortem.
